3 Items Every Girl Should Have In Her Backpack Before A Camping Trip

If you want to get in touch with a simpler state of being away from the busy atmosphere of everyday life, camping can be quite the rewarding experience. Camping out in nature with a group of friends or family is a refreshing change from the ordinary vacation. Even when you are hiding out in the woods, it will still be important to you to feel clean and refreshed. After all, just because you want to visit nature it does not mean that you want to live like a cave woman. Before you grab your backpack and head off into the wilderness, there are three health and beauty products you should make sure you have tucked away in your backpack.

1. Dry Shampoo

In the woods when you are really roughing it, a shower or bath will be pretty much obsolete unless you have the convenience of a nearby camper, RV, or bathroom facility. The idea of going without washing your hair may make you cringe, but with the best dry shampoo for sale online, you will not have to worry about grungy hair in the woods. Make sure you have a bottle of dry shampoo that contains emulsifiers that absorb oil and help any dirt to be naturally brushed away from each strand of hair.

2. Unscented Deodorant

There is probably not a chance that you will consider leaving for a few days without deodorant, but the type you wear can be a huge decision when you are amongst insects in the woods. This is their territory, and sweet-smelling fragrances will be assumed to be something food related by mosquitoes, biting gnats, and even bees. Trade in your favorite sweet pea or shower fresh scented antiperspirant for an unscented variety. You will be so glad you did when the rest of your female co-campers start complaining about biting insects.

3. Wet Wipes

When it comes to wet wipes for camping, not any moistened disposable cloths will do. These wipes do little to help you feel clean and refreshed and can often leave your skin feeling sticky with residue. Look for wipes that are moistened with essential oils, like eucalyptus or tea tree oil, that will leave you not just clean, but feeling refreshed and will sooth any irritated skin as well. These cloths will be the next best thing to a shower when you are starting to feel like you are getting a little too dirty for comfort.

Stepping out of the civilized world to reconnect with nature is an incredible way to bring life into perspective. However, just because you need the change, you should still be able to stay comfortable and clean. Make sure you grab these items on your way out the door and you will have a much more fulfilling experience.
